Two more H1N1 deaths confirmed in Minnesota residents      October 29, 2009
Two more deaths from 2009 H1N1 influenza have been confirmed by the Minnesota Department of Health, bringing the total number of H1N1 deaths to 12 since April.

Minnesota records three more deaths associated with H1N1 novel influenza      October 22, 2009
These cases bring to 10 the total Minnesota deaths related to the H1N1 outbreak since last April.

State officials monitoring research results of H1N1 in swine      October 19, 2009
On October 14, 2009, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) was notified by researchers from the University of Minnesota and University of Iowa that three samples collected from pigs as part of a four-year research study sponsored by CDC were suspected to be positive for the 2009 novel H1N1 virus.
