Elevator Shutdowns: Be Prepared, Know Your Rights
Landlords and building owners throughout Minnesota are working to bring their elevators into compliance with mandated safety requirments. Although the upgrade will greatly enhance safety, it can take an elevator out of service for several weeks and can be a serious issue for tenants with mobility issues. Assistive Technology Study
MSCOD led a work-group to understand Assistive Technology usage in Minnesota. The AT study is now available to the public. The study includes: information about the types of assistive technologies, demographics of people with disabilities, employment & statistical overview of people with disabilities, AT providers, Community-based providers of AT, and data on public funding for AT.

Options Too Relocation Work Group
The Options Too relocation work group is an interagency project spearheaded by the Minnesota State Council on Disability, the Minnesota Department of Human Services, and the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency.
Pathways to Employment
A partnership effort between the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, and the Minnesota State Council on Disability, Pathways to Employment will create a coordinated statewide strategy to facilitate the competitive employment of Minnesotans with disabilities.
