Securities Laws change on August 1, 2007
The new Securities Law change took effect on August 1, 2007.  Interim Guidelines have been established to clarify some aspects of Minnesota's new laws.  You can download the complete Order detailing the guidelines.

Franchise Registration Changes Effective July 1, 2007
 The Federal Trade Commission's new 2007 Franchise Rule has affected franchise registration requirements under the Minnesota Franchise Act.  A Notice explaining the effect on new and registered franchisors can be downloaded here.
